Summary The objective of this research is to develop specific use cases for applying cloud computing in the tactical environment, which in turn will serve to aid in identifying and resolving issues and provide a basis for conducting path finder experiments. This will involve expanding upon NPS' analysis results from FY10 to support recommending the optimum use of cloud techniques to distribute data and processing over the tactical environment, considering: disadvantaged, disconnected, and denied communications and destroyed; infrastructure; specific ISR focused sensor access and retrieval recommendations; and viability of the cloud to deliver across functional boundaries (ISR to C2/Weapons).
