Summary | This proposal documents the funding required and the statement of work needed to produce an NPSCuL flight unit and perform associated activities as part of the OUTSat mission, in collaboration with the Office of Space Launch (OSL) and their Auxiliary Payload Integrating Contractor. These activities build upon the previous NRO funded activities for producing an NPSCuL flight unit for ADAMSat. The first flight of OUTSat is currently scheduled for mid-2012 as part of the NRO L-36 mission. OUTSat will fly on an Aft Bulkhead Carrier (ABC) and will utilize NPSCuL and eight Cal Poly P-PODs to launch a significant volume of CubeSats, enabling OSL to efficiently launch U.S government and other CubeSats. |
