Back Proliferation Dynamics in Southeast Asia: The Implications of Great Power Rivalry

Summary This project is the second in a series that examines Southeast Asian threat perceptions with respect to the growing civilian use of nuclear power. In this phase, we will assess the impact of great power rivalry on Southeast Asian governments'' threat perceptions and their continued willingness to support the nonproliferation regime. The purpose is to improve our understanding of the regional security environment in order to anticipate threats to U.S. national security interests.
