Summary Capture and dissemination of digital and video information in austere environments is a critical capability of Naval forces supporting the development and release of information by public affairs and civil affairs personnel regarding the activities of military forces in humanitarian assistance and disaster response operations. Emerging ultra-high definition video standards, such a 4K and 8K, require significant data transfer and tight constraints on latency with respect to the delivery of near real-time video and imagery. This effort intends to conduct field experimentation/demonstrations of the video capture/dissemination system integrated with the Medium-Earth-Orbit satellite system ground terminal, both procured as part of the associated previous research effort, and subsequent deli very of the integrated system to ONR TechSolutions in fulfillment of the overall project
