Summary The objective of this new but related to our previous research is to investigate agile geolocation techniques that adapt to the dynamic nature of the CR. We propose to employ a wireless sensor network to sense and monitor the spectral utilization of both primary and secondary users in the cognitive radio network with a goal to geolocate specific secondary user(s). A combination of widely used spectral sensing approaches and an n-bit hard combination technique will be used, and simulation of the proposed scheme will be conducted for validation.
