Summary | The scope of this work is to provide a methodology as well as tool development for conducting a systematic set of early design trade-offs for all-electric naval ships. The proposed work will utilize domain level experts at the Naval Postgraduate School especially with regards to mission effectiveness and weapon system characterization. The results of the methodology and tools that will be developed will be tested and used in various NPS educational activities such as the Total Ship Systems Engineering program. |
