Summary | n FY 13, under CMIS sponsorship, we identified a fundamental mathematical structure to address the closed-loop multi-INT tasking problem. There are many facets and challenges to this problem, and one of the enabling technologies that address the overall objectives of the sense-making program are the underlying fundamental problems in mixed-variable control and optimization that was identified in the FY13 report. The objectives of this project are to tackle some key problems in multi-INT tasking that fall under the framework of hybrid optimal control and uncertainty management. This project will support the thesis works of CDR Jeffery King, LT Jared Smearman, LCDR Joseph Greenslade and LT Edward Tremblay. In addition, this project will also support portions of LCDR Richard Arledge’s thesis. |
