Summary | The objective of this project is to develop new concepts for increasing the agility of integrated CMG attitude control systems. We propose to develop new CMG control allocation concepts based on the notion of stochastic perturbations of the CMG Jacobian matrix. Inserting such perturbations allows us to search around the degenerate points for valid control solutions. As part of this project, we intend to develop a laboratory prototype to demonstrate this potentially game-changing idea. |
