Summary	One of NPS' strategic goals is to extend the reach of its educational programs to global partners through collaboration and research. It already cooperates with Singapore in exchange programs of education and research. Dr. Lin's activities will support and strengthen these interactions between NPS and Singapore. Dr. Lin will serve ONRG in Singapore as the Associate Director for Global Technical Awareness related to China. He will work in this area as well as serving as the lead in Marine Engineering. He will also work with other ONRG Associate Directors to establish a coordinated mutli-disciplinary approach to advance Naval S&T.
