Summary | The trend of increasing open water fraction in the summertime Arctic is affecting the dynamics and thermodynamics of the upper Arctic Ocean. Four Autonomous Ocean Flux Buoy systems will be built and deployed in the Beaufort Gyre of the Arctic Ocean during 2020 and 2021 to study the changing physical environment of the Arctic Ocean. |
