Summary The objectives of this research are to identify variables that influence human behavior and decisions regarding energy consumption, to gain insight into how incentives, policy, procedures, and organizational culture affect energy-related attitudes and behavior, and to develop a model that will represent estimated outcomes of various influences on human behavior and decisions regarding energy use. Data will be gathered from observation and interviews with Marines participating in ITX field exercises at 29 Palms, California.
