Summary |
The proposed NPS-POLSOF joint experimentation campaign will address critical warfighter challenges. Experiment objective is to develop a situational awareness sharing tool, based on remote advise and assist techniques for U.S. and partner nation teams in joint HALO/HAHO and aerially delivered land/maritime Direct Action (DA) missions. The DASSA Network should help to share information and alerts from rad/nuc detection: 1) Enemy target tracks and alert info must be shared visually with partner nation HALO/HAHO teams while in the air. 2) Airborne teams need to self-organize for conducting combined site exploitation (SE) while confronted with the need to conduct stand-off rad/nuc detection. 3) Airborne DA teams and remote advise and assist SMEs need to minimize time required to modify a plan of action subject to possible threats or SE findings. |
