Summary	The Naval Postgraduate School Directed Energy/Free Electron Laser (DE/FE:) Group will perform basic and applied research on the physics and technologies relevant to ONR DE/FEL development and other Naval applications. Simulations and analysis will be used in support of industry and ONR FELs. The tasks always involve NPS Navy military students and their thesis research work. Students are taken to workshops and conferences to give presentations and to participate in publications and collaborations. The total amount requested for FY13 is $600k.
