Summary | Soar is a software to model complex reasoning, cognitive functions and decision making for warfighting processes like the ones in a kill chain. The cognitive functions include decision making, sensor fusion, analytic processes and workflow. In Phase I, we started to apply Soar using decision making in the Cognitive Kill Chain (CKC) and Combat ID (CID). In Phase II, we will leverage the initial models of the Soar/CID application. We will continue to focus on the English Language Production Rules. A more detailed and deeper cognitive learning and decision model will be developed from both Navy operational decision making perspective and Soar programming perspective. |
