Summary | This project is in collaboration with Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory to develop Agent Defeat Penetrator (ADP). NPS will design and fabricate composite cylinders to be used for the quarter-scale and quarter-section testing at LLNL Site 300 with necessary diagnostics. The quarter-scale and quarter-section tests at site 300 will provide crucial data for building accurate simulations of the ADP for deployment. In lieu of a fully instrumented full scale test, these quarter scale data will be used to validate deployment simulations of the ADP. |
