Summary The BRS modelling tool has been developed to support planning and decision making during Controlled Exposure Experiments, first in the Southern California Bight, and then in the Gulf Stream area off Cape Hatteras. The present project will further extend capabilities and expand usage of the BRS modeling tool along two directions: 1) tuning of the existing tool for use in at least two additional geographic locations and 2) implementing additional capability for reconstructing sonar received level which can be applied to verify and analyze results of both planned and opportunistic Behavioral Response Study (BRS) experiments.
