Summary The Colombian government has achieved great success against the FARC, but the FARC has been able to adapt and has recently transitioned back into guerilla warfare increasing the complexity of targeting. The Colombian National Police require more efficient and effective networked analytical tools and training in order to focus their limited patrol and response assets in such an expansive area. CORE Lab methodology and Lighthouse software can help reduce the risk of uncertainty in decision-making by enabling collection of structured relational data. The CORE Lab has been asked to develop a training program, in Spanish, that will familiarize DIPOL personnel with CORE lab advanced network analytical methodology to include SNA, geospatial and temporal analysis and the Lighthouse collection system.
