Summary | Quick Reaction (QR) codes are becoming ubiquitous as 2-dimensional replacements for bar codes. Interesting new tactical capabilities are possible however. Essentially, QR codes might be considered a "digital semaphore" that allow communication of detailed messages that cannot be intercepted. Line-of-sight restrictions actually can work at long ranges when highresolution optics are utilized aboard ship, aircraft or satellites. |
