Summary	The objective of this research is to enhance Naval Research Laboratory's (NRL) COAMPS-OS(R) (Coupled Ocean/Atmosphere Mesoscale Prediction System) numerical weather prediction model in order to provide new and emerging analysis and forecast capabilities to Fleet Numerical Meteorology and Oceanography Center (FNMOC) that address small-scale (meso-and micro-scale) atmospheric and coupled (atmospheric-land-ocean-wave).
