Summary	The scope of this project will ultimately identify potential salient variables that influence message resonance in the Afghan battle space. The project is especially interested in identifying variables and processes involved in generating symbolic and material interfaces and extensions (artifacts, organizations, belief systems, etc.) between the Taliban and their target audiences.
