Summary This effort will investigate new detonation initiation strategies through novel swept-ramp fuel injectors/turbulence generators and evaluate their performance on a multi-cycle pulse detonation engine. Additionally, a new three-combustor engine with a common exhaust nozzle will be designed and fabricated to evaluate the effectiveness of mixed frequency operation of individual tubes resulting in near-instantaneous thrust vectoring of the system.
