Summary | The overall objective is to develop a unified theoretical foundation for pseudospectral methods in the optimal control and estimation of general nonlinear systems; and to apply the method to achieve real-time optimal control of space systems. Our goal is to advance the state-of-the-art by solving optimal control and estimation problems that are not solvable using existing methods. |
