Summary | The Arctic Ocean Model Intercomparison Project (AOMIP) is an international effort to determine the systematic errors in models of the Arctic Ocean forced with realistic atmospheric conditions. AOMIP involves the international ocean modeling community in a major test and intercomparison of model performance. The main goal of this project is to examine behavior of different models, their ability to stimulate past, present and future variability of the Arctic Ocean climate and the major processes maintaining the ocean dynamics. |
