Summary | The Naval Postgraduate School conducts a two-phased study to develop counters to selected current and projected insurgencies, and their systems and sub-systems. These may include IED systems and sub-systems. The project will identify these insurgencies, attempt to anticipate future modes of irregular warfare, and estimate their level of danger. The project's recommendation may be operational, technical, doctrinal, budgetary and policy related. Throughout all phases of the study, NPS provides a sustained effort to support specified ongoing JIEDDO needs. It is likely that phases will overlap. As phase 1 identifies areas for further study, phase 2 work may begin, while phase 1 continues. |
