Summary	The objective of this research is to investigate the design and manufacturing issues related to imbedding an array element into a ship structure, i.e., Aperstructure. The topics to be addressed include: (1) possible radiating elements that could be integrated into ship deckhouse structure, (2) efficient feeding methods, and (3) fabrication techniques and material studies.
