Summary	The joint research effort is aimed at analyzing the impact with DoD of alternative energy on water and petroleum distribution. Collaborators will evaluate the global and regional environmental factors to determine the need for and design of a DoD alternative energy center. Areas of exploration will include supply, demand, distribution and uses of water and energy resources in DoD operating areas.
