Summary | An integrated sensor and reporting system, capable of monitoring the underwater threat area from a stand-off position to the high value vessel is needed to mitigate underwater threats to high-value surface assets. This research proposes investigation of the integration of emerging light-based direction and ranging (LiDaR) sensors with the monitoring, collaboration, and reporting capabilities of the DARPA-developed adaptive (ADAPT) unattended sensor network to address this threat area. |
