Summary Health service support personnel, commanders and staff must be knowledgeable, prepared, and responsive to health-related requirements. The goal of this project is to create a durable knowledge transfer program for the Marine Forces Reserve health services support division. Knowledge acquisition required by Marine Reservists, Commanders, and support personnel. There are many inherent challenges to a command distributed in nearly 190 sites in the United States and its territories. Transitioning knowledge from experts to novices is one of the most difficult prospects. Work in the past two years to create an effective hybrid knowledge transfer model for the Marine Forces Reserves' new Inspector-Instructors is a good foundation for this effort. While there are some similarities to the needs of the Inspector-Instructor program, the health services support model must address more technical information and convey it to a much different audience. The project will combine different knowledge transfer techniques and designs to create a new framework that will effectively facilitate preparing new health services support personnel.
