Summary |
The NPS MOVES team will support CNIC in design and development of a net-centric ashore/afloat Shore Force Center for Training and Exercises (SFCTE) that integrates Joint Training Systems in a realistic Live, Virtual, Constructive (LVC) simulation environment using realistic scenarios aligned with the Navy Continuous Training Environment. We will observe various ashore and afloat exercises during both planning stages and operations. We will also review, test and assess a variety of relevant software and hardware packages that might be used in the training center or at end-user commands. Supporting tasks include (1) Perform studies and provide references that support SFCTE initiative by leveraging NPS resources that include consultation of modeling and simulation (M&S) capabilities; (2) Market research and evaluation of technology developments and its potential to support SFTCE; (3) Provide subject matter expertise to CNIC staffs in support of real-world crisis and ad hoc tasking. |
