Summary | The objective of the proposed research is to understand and predict failure of composite cylinders subjected to static and dynamic loading, respectively. Experiments will be conducted while strain gages are attached to the composite specimens. New test set-ups will be designed and fabricated for this study. Then, newly developed composite failure criteria will be used for computer modeling and simulation. |
