Summary |
The CCMR-SCSEP program will develop, plan, facilitate, and evaluate up to 8 USARPAC-sponsored security cooperation exercises and up to five regionally aligned pre-deployment seminars. Theater Security Cooperation Program exercises are conducted annually with Partner Armed Forces. These two-week exercises and associated planning events are facilitated by the CCMR Security Cooperation Studies and Exercises (SCSEP) program in the US and various Asia-Pacific Partner nation training locations. US-only regional alignment seminars prepare US staffs to deploy and conduct security cooperation event with regional partners. Exercises and seminars support five enduring regional goals: - Enhance partner capabilities; - Leverage strategic partnerships to enhance regional security; - Preserve operational and training access for US forces; - Limit harmful military influence in the region; - Deter aggression through a forward-deployed regional force posture. |
