Summary |
This project will assess how education and training delivered via new technologies might best contribute to current and planned efforts to change Navy energy culture. Training and education significantly affect culture change (and sustainment of that change) New educational technologies such as Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) hold promise for rapidly increasing awareness and understanding of energy concerns and solutions. This project will explore how these technologies might be developed and implemented (more quickly than would be expected in the traditional education/training organizations) to accelerate the culture changes needed across the Navy enterprise. We will design and prototype MOOC-like online course, and offer select modules as a prototype. |
