Back Preliminary Enhancements to Selected Courses for the 2011 Seed Program

Summary This work is intended to provide enhancements to educational materials used for the Security Engineering Enrichment and Development (SEED) Program of the National Security Agency (NSA). Three courses will be modified or extended. The first is CS3695, Network Vulnerability Assessment and Risk Mitigation. For this course, material will be added to highlight two forms of risk mitigation: developmental and operational. The two other classes are CS4650 and CS4652, Introduction to Information Systems Security Engineering and Applied Information Systems Security Engineering, respectively. The work on these classes constitutes the first step to ensure that they will be positioned for restructuring in FY2011.
