Summary The experiments will be carried out from Marina airport using the CIRPAS Twin Otter and various scientific instruments from CIRPAS' airborne and calibration instrument suites. Operations will be supported by CIRPAS' scientific and flight operations personnel. CIRPAS will provide meteorological, navigational, aerosol and cloud-micro-physical data to the project, and will also install special purpose instruments provided by collaborator. The CIRPAS central data system will not only serve the facility equipment, but will also provide synchronization signals and real-time data to the collaborator as required. A satellite communications link will be available when needed to provide the science team a real-time access to data on the ground and to minimize the need for personnel aboard the aircraft. This maximizes payload capacity and enables scientific flight following and control from the ground.
