Summary	This project supports the ONR initiative to demonstrate energy technologies and analyze the return on investment (ROI) of such projects. There are a number of separate projects to show specific technologies, such as wind turbines, energy management systems, etc. This part of the overall NPS effort is an umbrella to provide overall management support to all the NPS projects, as well as supporting the sponsor, ONR and Dr. Stacey Curtis, with the associated industrial projects that are separately funded. Specifically we and others on the NPS E-STEP team evaluate white papers and full proposals from the ONR E-STEP Broad Agency Announcements (BAA), help monitor and evaluate progress from the contractors, attend technology and review panels, etc. These funds are also used as required to support projects, and workforce development in energy technology, with such programs as internships for wounded warriors and cadets/midshipmen from the service academies.
