Summary | This project supports the ONR/NAVSEA initiative to investigate the fundamental atomization properties of existing fuel injectors used on Allison 501-K34 gas turbine systems while operating with both F-76 and alternative fuels. The objectives are to understand the properties of the aerosols produced for each fuel and characterize the differences in spray angle, particle sizes, and spray pattern. |
