Summary | For the period of this proposal (FY17) the NPS team will concentrate on three main research areas: 1) Distributed training and knowledge transfer methodologies in support of Inspector-Instructor cadre and human resources development process (HRDP) for personnel, 2) Decision making support tools in the form of the Hurricane Decision Simulator and optimization models, and 3) A scalable assessment framework for evaluating the degree that MARFORRES is prepared to achieve its primary mission in providing operationally and administratively ready Marines to support the active component. All three efforts require specific research and technology development to meet MARFORRESs long term objectives in these important mission areas. |
