Summary | The goal of this project is to develop a basic physics based model/tool that would capture the essential mechanisms responsible for the material and structural responses to projectile impact. The objective of the work is to derive mathematical relationships, consistent with physical principles that can be used to predict the effectiveness of a wide range of existing EOD tools. The proposed project is a continuation of work started in cy06. |
