Summary | NPS project personnel will participate in assessing, analyzing and evaluating the influence of environmental stressors on Navy crew performance and system effectiveness. Examples of environmental stressors to be evaluated include ship motion and vibration. Some of the issues to be addressed include motion sickness, motion induced interruption of task performance, and manual material handling. Existing scientific research and data will be examined for potential inclusion in software models of human performance decline due to environmental stressors. |
