Summary |
The CORE LAB will work with TSWG to support the Joint Task Force-North (JTF-N) efforts of standing up a capability that uses the analytical methodologies taught and researched in the Naval Postgraduate School's Defense Analysis Department. These methodologies include the use of temporal, geospatial, and social-network analysis. The CORE Lab has the ability to rapidly field a mobile education and training team (METT) to JTF-N to provide the necessary education and training to operationalize the methodologies taught. In addition to advanced analytical education and training, the project will address: 1) the processes of JTF-N data storage and structuring; 2) incorporating disparate data sources and intelligence systems; 3) the use of field-data collected using the Lighthouse suite of applications (including the CORE Lab's Dynamic Tweet Network Analysis tool) and; 4) integrating analytical tools and techniques introduced during the education and training component. At the end of the projects first year, JTF-N will be expected to have the education, training, and tools to exploit data using the CORE Lab Methodologies. |
