Summary | The intent of this research is to apply operations research methodologies to quantitatively assess the value of various offensive counterforce/strike and interdiction options against ballistic missiles and their networks prior to terminal phase defense engagement. The purpose is to quantify the value of these systems to guide future research and development investment decisions. It is expected to be a multi-year effort depending upon available funding. |
