Summary |
The CORE Lab will develop a 6 day pilot course for the United States John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School at Ft. Bragg, NC. This course is designed to provide an interactive introduction to social network analysis (SNA) theories and techniques. It is meant to challenge participants, once they have successfully completed the course, to apply their newly acquired skills to real-world networks of interest. Dependent on the outcomes, the course may become a quarterly offering at the United States John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School. Proposed outline is as follows: Day 1: Training Overview and Introduction to SNA Day 2: SNA Application and Code books Day 3: Data Recording and Working with Multiple Networks Day 4: Network Topography and Centrality Day 5: Weekly Exercise I and Review Day 6: Cohesive Subgroups and Brokers and Bridges |
