|Summary||(U) The Naval Postgraduate School proposes to investigate the suitability of two newly developed computer technologies for the radiation-tolerant implementation of space-based Software Defined Radios. We specifically propose to examine the implementation of SDRs and classic Digital Signal Processing (DSP) functions in Radiation-tolerant and Radiation Hard by Design (RHBD) Field-Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA) and the RHBD multi-core MAESTRO chip.|
