Back Ultrawideband Antenna Analysis
Fiscal Year | 2010 |

Department | Electrical & Computer Engineering |
Investigator(s) | Parker, Andrew A. |
Sponsor | Office of Naval Research (Navy) |
Summary | The objective is to integrate, test, and deliver the next generation of a high gain, compact, wideband active antenna system to provide wider-band frequency coverage for the Radio Reconnaissance Equipment Program (RREP) provided SIGINT collection equipment while allowing Radio Recon Teams to operate in positions of greater concealment. Per the sponsor's requirements, we will use computational and measurement tools to integrate and quantify the performance of the antenna subsystem with integral amplifier electronics. The plan is to incorporate an active impedance matching subsystem to provide a high-gain, compact, wideband antenna system for RREP applications. |
