Summary	Specific research will be on mission effectiveness R&D being supported by ONR such as Synthetic Environments for Assessment of Performance (SEA), Intelligent Tutoring Systems (ITS), Personal Assistant for Life Long Learning (PAL3), Human Social Cultural impact on mission effectiveness, advancements in augmented/virtual (Battlespace Exploitation of Mixed Reality (BEMR) as well as relevant fleet exercises where data are being collected and assessed in terms of its impact on mission effectiveness. The metrics for assessing the value of this S&T will be those variables related to fleet mission effectiveness with a primary focus on the human as an operator or maintainer either as individuals or members of a team.
