Summary | The overall goal of this R&D is to work in collaboration with the office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs to identify and investigate those emerging Science and Technology areas required for a balanced and coordinated science and technology portfolio. This R&D will assist the OSD HA office to identify those Science and Technology R&D gaps that impact policy, overall OSD coordination and collaboration needs and opportunities. This effort will also continue to work with the International Human Factors and Medical Panel of NATO and TTCP to ensure that NATO and TTCP S&T needs are properly and effectively known, monitored, coordinated and represented as required by OSD HA. For NPS-MOVES those medical M&S technology gaps and related technology futures that will directly impact the on-line curriculum used for the USUHS medical certificate program at NPS-MOVES will be identified and coordinated via OASD HA and new issues brought forth to enrich the curriculum of the program. |
