Summary |
AFIT proposes to team with the MOVES Institute at the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) in an effort to develop a measureable, gaming-based simulation with adaptive learning capability. The simulation will be built using the existing open-source Delta 3D gaming engine and embedded within the Blackboard Learning Management System (LMS) as a learning tool for intelligence analysts, mission planners, and battlefield commanders. The results include: proof of concept that learning system and training (through gaming) system interoperability truly provide higher degrees of user interactivity, fidelity and immersion in a contextual and practical learning environment exists. The results also lead to the conversion of all AFIT MASINT courses into online delivery for eventual availability to DoD and intelligence analysts. |
