Summary	Within the Department of Navy, small networks of expertise exist but are often unconnected. There is a critical need to determine ways to provide tools to promote effective collaboration. We first propose to apply Lexical Link Analysis (LLA) as a new way to examine and visualize historical Hatch data. These LLA visualizations and analyses can also improve team member perceptions of their organizational roles and improve their motivation and productivity. We also propose to work with the management and development team of the Massive Multiplayer Online Wargame Leveraging the Internet (MMOWGLI) to extract historical data to perform proof-of-the-concept of LLA, address research questions and explore if MMOWGLI may be a comparable alternative to the virtual, innovation platform of the Hatch.
