Summary | To support the Littoral Operations in a Contested Environment (LOCE) concept, the Navy and Marine Corps leadership directed the development of the Expeditionary Advanced Base Operations (EABO) concept. EABO extends the distribution of lethality by providing land-based options that increase the number of sensors and shooters beyond the quantity that seagoing platforms can provide. To support EABO, Maj Nicholas Freeman of the Current Operations Analysis Support Team, Operations Analysis Directorate (OAD), Combat Development & Integration (CD&I), has developed a mixed integer program (MIP) to determine the set of surface connectors that minimizes the time required to move III MEF elements from home stations to specified locations within the INDOPACOM AOR. OAD would like to apply the principles of data farming and DOE to Maj Freeman's MIP. Additionally, OAD requests support to assist OAD with establishing a data farming capability on the OAD cluster, hosted on its CLASSIFIED internal network. |
