Summary | The Global Assessment Tool (GAT) was developed to measure the fitness of Soldiers and family members on four of the five dimensions of strength: emotional, social, spiritual, and family fitness. These measurements are designed to provide individual self assessment. The measurement of these factors can also potentially provide insight on the effects of certain policies, experiences, and training on the psychological health of the force. The goal of this research project is to investigate new interpretations of the Global Assessment Tool (GAT) in order to provide more informed feedback to the Soldier and improve prediction of Soldier outcomes. |
